Hi there, everyone and happy Easter!
I hope you are all having a lovely holiday. This month has been kind of busy for me, as I am looking for a new job and some friends from Spain were visiting. Well, I am not going to talk about all those real life boring work details here. As for friends, we had an interesting but exhausting week together, I carefully documented in pictures, but those are kind of personal, so I need to see how many of them I am able to share here.
However, I thought I could take the chance to document last Saturday, as it has been some time since my last "a day in pictures" sort of post.
I hope you enjoy my March, the 19th!
10:00- I have told you I am not a morning person a thousand
times now. I would love to be one, Heaven knows, but it seems like I never have
energy enough in the mornings. No matter how much coffee I drink (and I don´t
like caffeine, anyway). As a consequence, in the morning I simply chose Chai
Latte instead. It tastes much better and results are the same to me...
Outfit rundown: bolero cardigan- handmade by me/ Bustier - Bershka / skirt - Burleska /
necklace - Brigitte Bijou.
11:15- After Chai and a good shower I am ready to go. The Gentle One went to the University early this morning in order to test some language students (weekend exams?! I know...) and we decided to meet in the town center at 12:00 p.m. So I take a mandatory selfie in a hurry just before leaving the house.
12:10- Yes, I am totally
late. AGAIN. It looks like I can´t help myself. However, The Gentle
One wants to stop and drink something warm, so I take the opportunity to
have "proper breakfast" (A.K.A. latte & strawberry cake), or
my own version of it, in any case. Please,
don´t judge me.
13:40- We go for
a little walk to old town, where one of our favourite bookstores is located. The
best part about it is you can buy both, English language books and
Tea-related-stuff. Pretty much my idea of Heaven. When we finally leave I have
added two new brand mugs, three books and one tea blends to my whishlist. Thank
you very much, bookshop! Also, the owners know they belong my immortal soul
forever (sigh...)
14:30- Saturday is the only day we indulge ourselves with non-adult-and-healthy food. That means we end up in a pub, trying to figure out our mind among the approximately one hundred irresponsible options in the menu. The Gentle One unexpectedly betrays our pact by choosing a single Mediterranean salad to my surprise, but I am stubborn and I am not giving away my only eccentric meal day without a good fight, so sandwich and fries it is, my friends.
16:05- The weather goes quite windy and unpleasant by this point, so our plans to go for a park walk are canceled and we make it to a close old theater club to have some tea before we head back home. The tea itself is nothing out of the ordinary, but the bohemian venue atmosphere is nice and very relaxing, so we stay there for a good hour.
17:00- Finally back home! When we left the theater the wind was cold and unbearable, so we took a cab in order to be cozy as soon as possible. It puzzled us how chilly the evening became in just in a couple of hours. When we arrived to the apartment The Gentle One started sneezing, and feeling a bit strange, so he had to eat a cold tablet and rest. As for me, I spent the last evening light by reading a little bit and drinking my favourite milkshake. Afterwards, husband felt really awful, and I prepared him some healthy veggies soup for dinner we ate while watching a new chapter of Ash vs. Evil (yes, we love horrible 80´s films inspired revival series, sorry about that!) and call it an early night. Unfortunately, I totally forgot to take any more pictures while preparing supper, as I was a bit worried about The Gentle One, which means this is all I documented during March the 19th.
I loooove that outfit! And strawberry cake! I need it!

Oh and that red wall!!!
Thank you, Laura. You are very nice.♥
EliminarThe Gentle One felt better in a couple of days. It was just a small cold due to the big temperature change, but he´s totally alright now. Thanks for your concern too!
Beautiful pics! And you're magnificent in these clothes. :)
ResponderEliminarThank you Frilly! It had been some time since the last time I was able to properly "goth up", so I thought it was a good chance to get some pics :)
EliminarSo many wonderful pictures!
ResponderEliminarThank you! I try not to forget to take one at hour when doing "day in pictures", but I am such a forgetful mess sometimes. :)
